At Middle Path DBT + EMDR Therapy, we’re always listening — and we believe your input is vital to improving access to quality, skills-based mental health care across Kansas, Missouri, and the greater Kansas City area.
As we plan for the next round of DBT Skills Groups, we want to hear from you.

Why We’re Asking
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a powerful, evidence-based approach that helps individuals build skills in:
- Emotion regulation
- Distress tolerance
- Mindfulness
- Interpersonal effectiveness
Whether you’re a current client, a parent, a provider, or someone who’s been curious about DBT, your feedback helps us understand:
- What kinds of groups are most needed
- Preferred days/times for sessions
- Whether in-person, virtual, or hybrid options work best
- Special interests (e.g., DBT for teens, LGBTQIA+ groups, grief, heartbreak, neurodivergence)
Your Voice = Better Access & Support
This survey is for anyone who:
✅ Lives in Missouri or Kansas
✅ Is 16 or older (or has a teen who may benefit from DBT)
✅ Has been curious about DBT groups
✅ Wants to help reduce the stigma and increase access to mental health services in their community
The more we hear from our community, the better we can tailor our group offerings — making them more inclusive, accessible, and impactful.
What Happens Next?
Once we review survey responses, we’ll:
- Launch new DBT groups based on interest areas
- Adjust days/times to meet community needs
- Explore adding low-cost or pro bono options
- Expand teen and specialty groups (e.g., heartbreak, parenting, neurodivergent-friendly)
📅 Our summer groups are already underway, but new ones are always forming!
