New Virtual DBT Group Offers Neurodivergent-Friendly Support Every Wednesday Night

At Middle Path Counseling, we are thrilled to introduce a new opportunity for growth, connection, and skill-building: our Neurodivergent-Friendly DBT Skills Group—a virtual group created specifically for neurodivergent adults seeking mental health support in a way that truly meets their unique needs.

Why a Neurodivergent-Friendly DBT Group?

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a highly effective, evidence-based treatment originally developed to help people regulate emotions, tolerate distress, and improve relationships. While DBT has helped countless individuals, traditional formats don’t always accommodate neurodivergent thinkers—people with ADHD, Autism, sensory processing differences, and other cognitive variations.

This group has been thoughtfully designed with those differences in mind. We understand that neurodivergent individuals often experience the world in beautifully unique—and sometimes overwhelming—ways. Our goal is to offer DBT in a space that is welcoming, structured, and flexible enough to support diverse communication styles, learning needs, and sensory preferences.

What Makes This Group Unique?

Unlike traditional DBT groups, this one embraces the principles of neurodiversity. The environment is judgment-free, communication is flexible, and participants are encouraged to show up as they are—whether that means stimming, wearing headphones, or keeping their camera off.

Rochelle Stroh and Stacy Tucker bring deep compassion and experience to their roles as group leaders, ensuring every session is supportive and engaging. Their focus is on building a community where participants feel understood, empowered, and equipped with DBT tools they can actually use.
