Medication Management Services

Launching February 1, 2026

Now Accepting Clients in Kansas & Missouri 18+

Middle Path Counseling is excited to announce the addition of Medication Management services, beginning February 1, 2026, with appointments starting the week of February 1st. This expansion allows us to offer more comprehensive, coordinated mental health care for clients across Kansas and Missouri.

Integrated Medication Management & Therapy

Medication can be a helpful part of treatment for many individuals, especially when paired with evidence-based therapy. Our medication management services are designed to work collaboratively with our existing DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and EMDR treatment model, supporting both symptom relief and long-term emotional regulation.

By offering medication management within Middle Path Counseling, we aim to:

  • Improve continuity of care
  • Reduce fragmentation between providers
  • Support thoughtful, individualized treatment planning
  • Align medication decisions with therapeutic goals

What Is Medication Management?

Medication management is a psychiatric service that focuses on:

  • Mental health evaluations
  • Medication recommendations and prescribing
  • Ongoing monitoring for effectiveness and side effects
  • Adjustments based on symptoms, progress, and goals

Our approach emphasizes collaboration, education, and informed decision-making, ensuring clients feel supported and empowered throughout the process.

Who Medication Management May Help

Medication management may be appropriate for individuals experiencing:

  • Mood disorders such as depression or bipolar disorder
  • Anxiety disorders
  • Trauma-related symptoms
  • Emotional dysregulation
  • Difficulty benefiting fully from therapy alone

Medication is never a “one-size-fits-all” solution. Our providers work carefully with each client to determine whether medication is appropriate and how it fits into their overall treatment plan.

Who We Serve

  • Adults and adolescents (18+)
  • Kansas and Missouri residents
  • New and existing Middle Path Counseling clients
  • Individuals seeking combined therapy and medication support

Services may be provided via telehealth or in-person, depending on clinical appropriateness and state regulations.

When Do Appointments Begin?

  • Medication Management Launch Date: February 1, 2026
  • First Client Appointments: Week of February 1st, 2026

Availability will be limited during the initial launch phase, and early scheduling is encouraged.
