Job Title: Fully Licensed Specialist Therapist (DBT & EMDR focus) – W2 (KS/MO)
Elevate Your Clinical Practice in a Specialty Setting
Are you a clinician who thrives on evidence-based results? Do you want to practice High-Fidelity DBT and EMDR without the crushing weight of administrative overhead?
At Middle Path Counseling MO/KS, we aren’t a generalist “talk therapy” group. We are a premier specialty clinic serving the Kansas and Missouri communities. We provide the structure, the supervision, and the specialized referrals so you can focus on deep, transformative clinical work.
The Role: Clinical Specialist
We are seeking a fully licensed therapist (LPC/LCPC, LCSW/LSCSW, or LMFT) who is passionate about DBT Fidelity and DBT-Informed Care. While DBT is our primary modality, we utilize EMDR as our secondary clinical pillar to provide comprehensive trauma-informed care to our clients.
- Hybrid Freedom: 2 or 3 days in-office ( in the Kansas or Missouri location) / 2 or 3 days remote.
- True Support: Two dedicated billers and two front-desk coordinators manage your scheduling, collections, and credentialing.
- Advanced Tech: We provide a paid AI Note-Taker specifically to help you manage the detailed documentation required for DBT/EMDR without the burnout.
What We Offer
- High-Value Compensation: $55 – $65 per billable hour (W2)
- Clinical Community: Work in an environment that respects DBT Fidelity and integrates EMDR into a cohesive treatment plan.
- Health Benefits: 50% Employer-paid BCBS Health Insurance, Dental and Vision.
- Rest & Growth: 40 hours of accrued PTO + $200 annual CEU budget.
- Turnkey Practice: We provide a consistent stream of specialty-specific clients. You never have to market yourself.
What You Bring
- Full Licensure: Must be independently licensed in either or both Kansas and Missouri.
- Modality Expertise: Training or a strong desire to practice within DBT Fidelity and DBT-Informed frameworks.
- Trauma-Informed: Experience or training in EMDR is highly preferred.
- Commitment: Willingness to be physically present in our offices 2 days per week to support our local bi-state community.
Why Join a Specialty Clinic?
Most practices ask you to see “anyone who calls.” We don’t. We match you with clients who fit your specific training in DBT and EMDR. We’ve invested heavily in our admin team and office infrastructure so that you have a professional “home” that reflects the high quality of care you provide.
“We provide the specialized framework. You provide the clinical expertise.”
