Jennifer Carlin, APRN, MSN, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of nursing experience, including over a decade specializing in mental health care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Hannibal-LaGrange University and completed her Master of Science in Nursing and post-master’s certificate at Chamberlain University.
Jennifer has extensive experience providing psychiatric care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, allowing her to support patients across a wide range of mental health needs. She is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care and believes strongly in empowering patients through education, open communication, and collaborative treatment planning. Jennifer works closely with each individual to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their goals and values.
Outside of her clinical practice, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family. She has been married to her husband for more than 22 years, and together they have three children. Jennifer is passionate about helping others and is dedicated to making a meaningful, positive difference in the lives of her patients.

A Note for Our Missouri Clients: You can be fully evaluated, diagnosed, and treated at our Kansas office. We have designed this location to be a seamless, accessible resource for our clients on both sides of the state line.
Self-Pay Rates & Transparency
We believe in clear, upfront pricing so you can focus on your health without financial surprises. In accordance with the No Surprises Act, we provide a Good Faith Estimate for all self-pay services.

| Initial Psychiatric Intake | A comprehensive 60-minute evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment plan. | $250 |
| Standard Follow-Up | A 20–30 minute session to monitor progress and adjust medications. | $125 |
| Brief Follow-Up | A 15-minute check-in for stable clients requiring routine refills. | $80 |
| No Show/ Late Cancel | This fee applies to any appointment cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed without notification. | $75 |
We are currently working close with insurance companies to get in network within the year.
Insurance & Pay Rates:
We will provide a Superbill that can be submitted to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Be aware that services not covered by your insurance are your responsibility.
Payment:
- Payment can be in cash or with major cards. We keep your credit card on file for one calendar year to pay for any upcoming appointments or take care of any late cancellation or no-show fees.
- If for some reason you have a client balance or an insurance balance that is $100 or over, you will not be allowed to make any additional appointments until the balance is paid in full.
Late Cancellation & No Show Policy:
- If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay $75 that will be collected that day.
- Also if you do not show up for an appointment and have a reoccurring appointment time, you will be taken off of the schedule after two no-shows and will need to contact the office to reschedule a new appointment time.
