Insurance Payments
- Costs depend on your insurance plan. You may have a deductible or co-pay due at the time of service.
Self-Pay Rates
- Initial Intake Session (60 minutes, includes initial diagnosis):
- $150 (PLPC/LPC/LCPC)
- $125 (CIT)
- Individual Therapy Session (60 minutes):
- $125 (PLPC/LPC/LCPC)
- $100 (CIT)
Additional Fees
- Coaching/Crisis Calls: FREE (after three or more sessions as an established client; 10 minutes or less).
- Letter from Therapist: $100
- FMLA Paperwork: $125 (available after attending 10 sessions; interns cannot complete this paperwork).
- No-Call/No-Show Fee: $75
- Late Cancellation Fee (less than 24 hours): $75
- For appointments scheduled at 3 PM or later, the fee increases to $100 (effective March 1, 2023).
- Records Request: $125 (may take up to 30 days).
Policy for Sessions Exceeding 60 Minutes
- Insurance does not cover time beyond 60 minutes. Any additional time will be billed to the client in 15-minute increments, prorated at the clinician’s self-pay rate.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining the expected cost of your medical and mental health care.
- Applies to clients without insurance or not using insurance.
- You can request an estimate before scheduling services.
- If you receive a bill that exceeds your estimate by $400 or more, you have the right to dispute it.
- A copy of your Good Faith Estimate will be provided to you.
