Licensed and Pre-Licensed Therapist Fees

Insurance Payments

  • Costs depend on your insurance plan. You may have a deductible or co-pay due at the time of service.

Self-Pay Rates

  • Initial Intake Session (60 minutes, includes initial diagnosis):
    • $150 (PLPC/LPC/LCPC)
    • $125 (CIT)
  • Individual Therapy Session (60 minutes):
    • $125 (PLPC/LPC/LCPC)
    • $100 (CIT)

Additional Fees

  • Coaching/Crisis Calls: FREE (after three or more sessions as an established client; 10 minutes or less).
  • Letter from Therapist: $100
  • FMLA Paperwork: $125 (available after attending 10 sessions; interns cannot complete this paperwork).
  • No-Call/No-Show Fee: $75
  • Late Cancellation Fee (less than 24 hours): $75
    • For appointments scheduled at 3 PM or later, the fee increases to $100 (effective March 1, 2023).
  • Records Request: $125 (may take up to 30 days).

Policy for Sessions Exceeding 60 Minutes

  • Insurance does not cover time beyond 60 minutes. Any additional time will be billed to the client in 15-minute increments, prorated at the clinician’s self-pay rate.


Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining the expected cost of your medical and mental health care.

  • Applies to clients without insurance or not using insurance.
  • You can request an estimate before scheduling services.
  • If you receive a bill that exceeds your estimate by $400 or more, you have the right to dispute it.
  • A copy of your Good Faith Estimate will be provided to you.
